• This scattershot nomination of such a large number of templates without sufficient individual evaulations, or even tagging them to allow others to do such evaluations, was inappropriate. And most of these aren't sandboxes, they are part of Patrick's 2010 vision to use Meta help pages to document everything conceivable about how parser functions like #expr (and template syntax more generally) works, even things nobody cares about. That has largely been cleaned up now, with a few remnants like mw:Manual:Representation of numbers in expr parser function, so many of these can be deleted, but this nomination that makes guesses about context (which proved to be wrong) rather than figuring that out doesn't really help. 03:52, 18 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
